Iron-based materials
• Pure iron powder:
has high strength and good wear resistance, relatively low cost, suitable for some ordinary gears with not particularly high performance requirements.
• Ferroalloy powder:
adding chromium, molybdenum, nickel and other alloy elements to pure iron powder can improve the strength, hardness and wear resistance of gears, while improving their toughness and corrosion resistance, which can meet the requirements of different working conditions.
•Copper based materials:
It has good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, and low friction coefficient. It is often used in some special gears with low noise and wear resistance requirements, such as gears used in some electronic equipment or food machinery.
•Stainless steel powder:
It has excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, can maintain good performance in harsh working environment, often used in medical equipment, chemical equipment and other fields with high corrosion resistance requirements.
special materials
•High temperature alloy powder:
can maintain good mechanical properties in high temperature environment, suitable for aerospace, gas turbine and other high temperature working conditions of gears.
•Nanomaterials reinforced powder:
By adding nanoscale reinforcing phases, such as nano-ceramic particles, to traditional powder metallurgy materials, the strength, hardness and wear resistance of gears can be significantly improved.
Hard alloy powder: has very high hardness, wear resistance and compressive strength, mainly used to manufacture high load, high speed, high precision gears, such as in some high-speed cutting machine tools, precision instruments used in the use of gears.
